Start with the purpose
Choose images that are relevant to the service or subject. Existing photographs, project images or illustrations may be useful if you have the right to use them.
Check rights and quality
Confirm the licence or permission for each image, choose appropriate dimensions and test how it crops on mobile and desktop.
Include accessible descriptions
Write alternative text for images that convey information. Decorative images can use empty alternative text so they do not add unnecessary repetition.
